At Cheney Veterinary Clinic, we believe in being upfront and transparent about the cost of veterinary care. Our clinic does not offer in-house payment plans.Payment is due at the time services are provided, and we offer several payment options to help make care as accessible as possible.

  • We gladly accept cash, checks, and debit cards with no additional processing fee.

  • Credit card payments are accepted with a 3% processing fee.

    This fee helps cover the cost charged by credit card companies and payment processors. Rather than building those costs into all of our prices, we separate the fee so clients who choose cash, check, or debit are not paying for credit card processing costs.

  • We offer Cherry, a buy-now-pay-later payment option for veterinary care.

    Cherry includes a 9-month 0% interest plan for qualifying clients, with a quick application process and flexible payment options depending on approval.

  • We accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that can be used for veterinary expenses.

    CareCredit offers 6 months of 0% interest on qualifying balances, allowing clients to spread out the cost of care over time, depending on approval.

  • We work with Trupanion, a pet insurance provider that can help cover the cost of unexpected illness or injury.

    For eligible claims, Trupanion may be able to pay their portion of the invoice directly to our clinic at checkout, reducing your out-of-pocket expense in the moment.

    We also offer 30 days of free Trupanion coverage after your pet’s visit, allowing you to get started with protection right away. Just ask our helpful receptionists!

    Pet insurance is not a replacement for payment, but it can be a helpful tool in managing the cost of veterinary care over time. Coverage depends on the individual policy and enrollment prior to illness.

We offer a military discount as a small thank you to those who serve and have served. Please let our team know at the time of your visit if you would like this applied to your invoice.
